A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is payable after availability and your itinerary are agreed. Your booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit and issue written confirmation.

Clear arrangements for your multi-day Private Tour or Group Tour. Your written quotation confirms the itinerary, total price, payment dates and any special supplier conditions before you pay.
70% net balance
The remaining 70% is due 45 days before your arrival date. Bookings made within 45 days of arrival require full payment when confirmed.

Wire transfer
Transfer to our bank account using the account details and booking reference supplied with your invoice.
Online payment portal
Pay online through our payment portal. We provide the payment link with your booking instructions.
What “net” means: the full invoiced deposit and balance must reach our account after any applicable transfer or payment-processing charges. Any charges payable by you will be disclosed before payment. For wire transfers, please arrange for sending and intermediary bank charges to be paid by you so that we receive the full amount.
If you need to cancel
Email your cancellation request to reservation@theegyptologist.com, including your booking reference and lead traveler’s name. The cancellation date is the date we receive your email. The following charges are calculated on the total tour price, not just the deposit.

Any refund due is calculated from the payments received after the applicable cancellation charge. Stricter airline, hotel, cruise or other supplier conditions will be disclosed before payment and apply to the affected services. The same supplier cost will not be charged twice.
Scheduled Group Tours
Multi-day Group Tours require a minimum of 8 participants in total and are limited to a maximum of 16 participants per departure. We confirm whether a departure will operate no later than its published booking deadline.
If we cancel because the minimum group size is not reached, you may choose a full refund of payments made to us or an alternative trip that you voluntarily accept. An alternative or travel credit is your choice.
Peak dates and special services
Peak travel dates, special access and supplier commitments may require different deposits, earlier payment or different cancellation terms. Any exceptions are clearly stated in your quotation before you make payment.
